Our cats are sweet at times. We have two of them and they are really mellow and cool to have around. I would not have thought of myself as a "cat man" in the past but I really do love these two. They are named Teddy Bear (black and white) and Peanut ("buff" as my wife calls it). There is a third one in the picture and she is the sister of Peanut. She decided she felt the call of the wild and wanted to live off the land. She moved out into the wash behind our house. She was a cool kitty but was definitely meant for the great outdoors. Anyways, Peanut and Bear are entertaining and energetic enough for me for now. Maybe once the dogs are no longer around then we will consider getting another cat. For now, these two are enough for me. Dea would get another right now if I would let her.
My wife and I currently live in Tucson, AZ and we have 4 dogs and 2 cats. I love spending time with her and with my friends. I LOVE going to the movies or just sitting at home watching a dvd. I also enjoy reading books--all kinds of books. If it catches my attention from the start then I will read it. I am a 6th-8th grade PE teacher and I really enjoy spending time with my students.
I absolutely love this series: The Ranger's Apprentice. It's a series of books written by an Australian author. He wrote them for his son so he would have something positive to read. Eight of the books have been written, but only four have been released in the US. I order them from an Australian book dealer and am re-reading them so I can order book eight in the series. I HIGHLY recommend this series to everyone.
